On the evening of April 20th, we will welcome Congressman Dwight Evans to the second Monthly Giving Network. Having served Philadelphia in public office since 1980, Dwight has worked to uplift neighborhoods block by block while watching federal funds for urban communities diminish. Congressman Evans
believes now is the time for a new national policy for America's cities.
He is a champion of Philadelphia and an advocate of federal funding for the Rail Park.
The event will be hosted at 226 S 3rd St, one of the most extraordinary properties we have ever offered for sale. Custom built in 1978, this free standing, architecturally inspired home was designed for the first Board Certified female orthopedic surgeon in America.
This month's event will also feature the artwork of Aissulu Kadyrzhanova. Born in Almaty, Kazakhstan, she studied at the Surikov Institute of Arts in Moscow, and received her MFA in painting from Tyler School of Art at Temple University. Kadyrzhanova has exhibited her work in Almaty, Moscow and Philadelphia and has recently worked on a public art piece funded by the Asian Arts Initiative.
Admission to the event is possible through your $100 per person donation.
You may also donate by bringing a check to the event made out to "Dwight Evans for Congress". RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org required for anyone donating at the door.
100% of the donations go directly to Dwight Evans for Congress. Wine and hors d'oeuvres are provided by the Michael Garden Group.
